A Showcase of the Past, a Stage for the Future
Enjoy Our Events
In our inaugural 2017 season, we offered live community theater, opera, jazz, blues, folk-rock, a community talent show, a songwriter showcase and a Non-Profits Night Out gala. 2018 will offer new delights, from comedy, theater, rock, blues, spoken word, poetry and Cowboy Church. Check out our schedule, coming soon!
Support Our Rehabilitation
The city of Leadville, Colorado purchased the historic Tabor Opera House in 2016 with grants received from the Colorado Department of Local Affairs, History Colorado State Historical Fund, El Pomar Foundation, Boettcher Foundation and Gates Family Foundation. The opera house is now under the management of The Tabor Opera House Preservation Foundation, which has embarked on a mission to preserve and rehabilitate the building and create a cultural and community center in Leadville.
