Leadville & Lake County Museums & Tours

Purchase the Museums of Leadville Passport at the Tabor Opera House, any of the participating museums, the train depot or at the Leadville/Lake County Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center.

Accessibility & Parking

The Tabor Opera House is centrally located in the downtown Historic District at 308 Harrison Avenue in Leadville, Colorado  80461.  It is within easy walking distance from restaurants and shops in the downtown.

ACCESSIBILITY:  Accessible entry to the auditorium is from St. Louis Street (between the Tabor and Kum and Go Store.  Advance arrangements may be made by calling the Opera House|Phone 719-486-8409| or by advising the Manager at the front desk upon arrival. 

The gift shop on the first floor is at street level.

 Unfortunately, the upper floors are not ADA accessible until we are further along in our rehabilitation efforts.

PARKING:  A public parking lot is located behind the Opera House and is accessed from Harrison Ave. via St. Louis St..  Additional public parking is located across Harrison Ave. next to Cycles of Life bicycle shop and there is on-street parking in front of the Opera House and on neighboring streets
