If you are interested in donating the restoration cost for one of the original Andrews chairs, we are putting together a program that would let you do that. Your name plate would be attached to the chair in appreciation for your contribution. Please contact us at info@taboroperahouse.net for more information.
Once again, our appreciation and gratitude are extended to all the organizations and individuals who have donated their time and talents toward the restoration of this magnificent part of our Colorado history.
Our sincere thanks go to the Colorado Historical Society for the two generous grants awarded to help in the preservation of this treasured piece of history. The first grant provided for a new roof and structural reinforcement. The second grant covered the cost of an in-depth study of the entire building by architects and engineers. The study tells us what needs to be done, and prioritizes the projects. This study is an invaluable aid in pursuing donations and grants to complete the projects. To the other individuals and organizations who have donated their time, skills and financial support we also express our appreciation. Without this type of support we would find it impossible to proceed in the preservation of this "jewel of the past". History is exciting when relived through treasures like this building and its artifacts, it's stories of the past pioneers, and the performances that bring life to the stage again.
